He ventured into real estate sales in 2012 after deciding to spend more time with his growing young family in Australia with a very successful real estate agency company in 2012. He very quickly became a top-performing sales agent within the first year and had been rated as being amongst the top 1% of real estate agents in Australia. He soon became their business partner and a director in their newly created company specialising in assisting developers in project marketing, investment property sales, finding suitable investment projects and in project funding etc.

As an investor and a professional business and property investment coach, he also provides Property Education and Mentoring to the Asian Community in Australia and from abroad.

KY Tan - MBA, Senior Business & Property Advisor, Strategist, Financial and Operations Specialist

Senior Corporate Accountant with over 30 years of commercial experience in the Manufacturing sector, Shipping and Logistics, Life Insurance and Funds Management and in the Pay-TV, Broadband and Telecommunication industry. He started his professional career in public accounting and audits and discovered his love for management science, business growth strategies and its enabling systems. In short, the prerequisites for sustainable business growth which he has continued to apply and hone over the years in everything that he has put his hands on in his life.

Before his move to Brisbane, Australia, he was the CFO and VP of Corporate Services of Singapore Cable Vision Ltd (SCV) from 1994 through to 2003 with responsibilities for Finance and Accounting, Purchasing, Legal, HR, IT and Strategic Planning. SCV was a government-linked company under the Singapore Technologies Group at the time. After completing the roll-out of their Island-wide National Broadband Network in Singapore that offered Pay-tv, Broadband and Telephony services to the island nation, SCV was merged with its sister company, Starhub Ltd, to become the second fully-licensed telecommunication company in Singapore.

After helping S.T Technologies to complete the merger, K.Y. moved his family to Australia to fulfil the promise to his wife.

Prior to that, he had played a major role in the privatisation of the New Zealand Shipping Corporation and its International Shipping Agency subsidiary and also in the financial restructuring of the National Mutual Life Association and National Mutual Funds Management in New Zealand as a senior member of their management team. He was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and holds a Master in Business Analysis (MBA) from the United Kingdom.

K.Y. has a full real estate licence in Queensland and has been involved in raising funds for syndicated property developments in Australia and also in business development work within the property sector.
